Smart Window Applications
This page showcases the demonstrators of two student teams from our module Planspiel Web Engineering in Winter Semester 2020/2021. We present the works of the teams Eveloperz and SeaQuasar, who both had to develop an application running on a smart window. The given use case was situated in the public mobility area in cooperation with the Smart Rail Connectivity Campus. The smart window applications should be placed in public transport vehicles and in minimum identify the points of interest (POIs) while driving by with the support of a camera at the outside of the window. All POIs where detected by real time classification with pre-trained models. Our students present their works and their prototypical implementation together with their own ideas in a driving tram in Chemnitz.
