VSR is happy to announce that Hendrik Gebhardt has recently joined our group as research associate. His research will contribute to Web Engineering, Service Infrastructures and the OMELETTE project within the FP7 research program. We welcome this new team member and look forward to his contributions.

The lectures 'Protokolle Verteilter Systeme', 'Entwurf Verteilter Systeme','XML-Werkzeuge' and 'Architektur Verteilter Systeme' will not be held in the first lecture week (11.10.2010 - 15.10.2010). They will be rescheduled to a later date.

The Paper "Development of Web 2.0 Applications using WebComposition/Data Grid Service" by Olexiy Chudnovskyy and Martin Gaedke has been accepted for the The Second International Conferences on Advanced Service Computing (Service Computation 2010) taking place on November 21, 2010 in Lisbon, Portugal

We are happy to announce that VSR's researcher of the Chemnitz University of Technology will contribute to Europe's FP7 research strategy. The Open Mashup Enterprise service platform for LinkEd data in The TElco domain (OMELETTE) is a STREP project within Objective 1.2 Internet of Services (Call 5). The consortium coordinated by the Spanish company Informatica Gesfor consists of organizations from six countries. OMELETTE aims to provide new platforms for service composition addressing mass users served by the telco industry. It will provide support for the development of telco services, their flexible usage in mashup environments and their deployment on an open interoperable mashup delivery platform.
